Dr. Carroll is the Director of the Section of Vascular Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, general cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and vascular medicine fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also the director of Lymphatic Medicine and sees over 200 patients annually with lymphedema as part of the BIDMC multidisciplinary Lymphatic Center with the primary role of appropriate diagnosis and conservative management of limb swelling. Dr. Carroll is also the medical director of the BIDMC Aortic Center and director of MASCOT, the BIDMC multidisciplinary PE response team. His research interests include venous thromboembolism, aortic disease, and lymphedema.
