Pulkit Chaudhury, MD, MS, FACC, FACP, FSVM, RPVI is an Associate Staff at the Cleveland Clinic and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Chaudhury's speciality interests include polyvascular atherosclerotic disease, arterial thromboembolism, non-atherosclerotic arteriopathies, pulmonary embolism and vascular ultrasound. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, vascular medicine and echocardiography with special competence in adult echocardiography and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He has coauthored several papers and abstracts published in leading peer-reviewed journals. He also has presented research abstracts and posters at national medical meetings, including ones hosted by the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team Consortium, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians and American Heart Association. Dr. Chaudhury earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, MA. He received his doctorate in medicine from State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y., then came to Cleveland Clinic for his internal medicine internship and residency. He continued his training here as a vascular medicine fellow, followed by a three-year fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He is currently dual appointed in the Sections of Vascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiology in the Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic.
