Ross A. Okazaki, MD is a Vascular Medicine Fellow at Boston Medical Center/Boston University with an interest in translational cardiovascular research working under the guidance of Dr. Naomi M. Hamburg, MD, MS. Originally from Aiea, HI, he is a graduate of Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and the Boston Medical Center/Boston University Internal Medicine Residency Program. His current research focuses on understanding phenotypes of endothelial cell dysfunction across different conditions such as electronic cigarette use and the spectrum of cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic health. This year he will be applying for a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine where he hopes to continue towards the next steps of his career in academic medicine. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, rock climbing, bicycling, skiing, and photography.
